| Here at Budnik Wheels Australia we are proud to have been able to take ‘The Best of the Best’ on tour to New Zealand in April 2006.Their destination was the gigantic Westpac Stadium in Wellington New Zealand to be displayed, on the red carpet for all to admire during the 2HOT2HANDLE world class motoring spectacular. The tour drew massive media coverage both in the print media and on television . The public’s reaction was unbelievable and made the whole tour worthwhile. Late March saw both the Grima Families Chev and Peter Olver’s 1933 Ford Coupe loaded into a 40 foot container for their journey across the Tasman to Wellington New Zealand. The cars were packed by their owners, family and friends. It was a very time consuming and precise task. In total the cars were attended by a crew of twelve, between setting the cars up and attending official events fun was had by all and Laurie’s late night driving skills, in the crew bus are now ‘legendry’! . |

The amazing Chev that has been a Summernats top 10 ( twice) , Meguiar’s Show Car Superstars Best of Breed winner, Top Car of Show at Brisbane Sydney and Melbourne Hot Rod Shows, and Grand Champion of the Sydney Car Festival to name but a few of it’s awards, is truly a piece of Automotive Art.
